Bryan Jones – Head Winemaker

With a rich and diverse background spanning over two decades in the winemaking industry, Bryan Jones brings a depth of expertise and passion to his role as Head Winemaker at Prince Michel Vineyard & Winery. His journey in the wine world began in Kentucky, where he played pivotal roles as the Head Winemaker, Tasting Room Manager, and Wine Club Manager at the state's largest vineyard and winery. Bryan's contributions were instrumental in enhancing customer appreciation for wine and developing innovative marketing and sales strategies.

Bryan's experience extends across a wide range of American hybrid and vinifera grapes, including unique varietals like Aphrodite Aromella, Vidal Blanc, Traminette, and many more. His skills in creating proprietary wine blends and quality products are matched by his strong leadership abilities and extensive knowledge of vineyard and winery operations.

His educational background includes significant accomplishments in the field of wine education, having passed the Sommelier 1 exam from The Court of Master Sommeliers and completed the Certified Specialist of Wine Course from the Society of Wine Educators. Bryan also holds a degree in Biological Science and Fine Arts from the University of Kentucky.

Bryan's professional experience is marked by significant achievements, including a substantial increase in sales at Lover's Leap Vineyards and Winery and a major role in its 12-year rebuilding and restructuring project. His ability to foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and his experience in retail management and team development, have been key to his success.
