At least 18 years old with a proactive and task-driven attitude

Job Details:

Part-time position including weekday, weekend, and evening shifts

The schedule has expanded to full service 7 days a week, with potential to work up to 28 hours per week (with possibility for full-time with prior experience)

Part-Time Tasting Room Associate Opportunity at Prince Michel Winery and Tap29 Brewery

Join the enthusiastic team at Prince Michel Winery and Tap29 Brewery and Pub! We are currently seeking part-time associates who radiate positivity, love engaging with customers, and are enthusiastic about promoting Virginia’s finest wines and craft beers. This role is perfect for those seeking a dynamic, team-oriented environment where they can deepen their knowledge and share their passion for the wine and beer industry.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and inform guests about the establishment and its products.
Conduct wine and beer tastings.
Drive sales of wine, beer, and cider products, as well as merchandise from the gift shop, membership subscriptions to wine and beer clubs, and promote upcoming events.
Replenish and manage inventory levels.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting areas, gift shop, and restrooms.
Operate cash registers, iPads, and POS systems efficiently.
Support in the facilitation of tours and special events.

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
Minimum age of 21 years
Must be available to work on weekends
Exemplary communication & customer service skills as well as enjoyment in interacting with diverse customers and colleagues
Must have an interest in learning more about beer, wine and cider and passing this knowledge on to customers

Work Hours:

Flexible scheduling throughout the week and weekend, adjusted according to seasonal demands and staffing requirements
