Compensation includes an hourly base rate plus tips, and discounts on wine and gifts!! Scheduling is based on a part-time, hourly arrangement with weekday, weekend, and night shifts available since we have just increased service to 7 days a week.

If you’ve ever been sent to the principal’s office for talking too much or have been told that you’ve never met a stranger—you are exactly who we’re looking to hire.
Prince Michel Winery and Tap29 Brewery and Pub are hiring part-time employees who have boundless optimism, a passion for making customers feel welcome, and a drive for selling Virginia made products like our award-winning wines and craft beers. We want team players who don’t mind a fast paced, vigorous work environment where you get to not only learn more about the wine and beer industry—you get to education and excite others about it too.
Tasks include conducting wine and beer tastings, stocking products, running a register, greeting customers for curbside service, and helping with tours and events. Hours vary throughout the week/weekend and are based on seasonal and staffing needs.
The right candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds (the weight of a case of wine), stand for long periods of time, have been alive for at least 18 years, and enjoy conversing with a diverse group of incredible co-workers and customers. Ability to perform additional social media and photography tasks is a huge plus!
Compensation includes an hourly base rate, great tips, generous commission, staff discounts on wine, slushies, and gifts as well as opportunities to gain experience in the flourishing wine and beer industry!!
