Prince Michel Vineyard & Winery

Tap 29 Brew Pub Cook

Prince Michel Winery and the Tap29 Brewery and Pub are looking for hard-working, enthusiastic, and creative individuals who have a passion for cooking and want to increase their knowledge and experience in the food and hospitality industry. Although experience in the food industry is a major plus for applicants, we are willing to train and enhance your knowledge of food preparation and presentation.

Please apply if you want to work in an exciting, fast-paced kitchen environment where you may be standing for long periods, but you will certainly never be bored. You must also be at least 18 years of age and have a task-oriented approach to life. Compensation includes an hourly base rate plus a company discount. Scheduling is based on a part-time, hourly arrangement with weekday, weekend, and evening shifts available since we have just increased service to 7 days a week. Potential for up to 28 hours per week.

All "foodies" send your resumes and references to Chef Mike Haney at mhaney@princemichel.com.

It's not just our sparkling wine and beer that are bubbly—our staff are too!

If you've ever been sent to the principal's office for talking too much or have been told that you've never met a stranger—you are exactly whom we're looking to hire.

Prince Michel Winery and Tap29 Brewery and Pub are hiring part-time employees who have boundless optimism, a passion for making customers feel welcome, and a drive for selling Virginia-made products like our award-winning wines and craft beers. We want team players who don't mind a fast-paced, vigorous work environment where you get to not only learn more about the wine and beer industry—but get to educate and excite others about it, too.

Tasks include:

  • Conducting wine and beer tastings
  • Stocking products
  • Running a register
  • Greeting customers for curbside service
  • Helping with tours and events

Hours vary throughout the week/weekend and are based on seasonal and staffing needs.

The right candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds (the weight of a case of wine), stand for long periods of time, have been alive for at least 18 years, and enjoy conversing with a diverse group of incredible co-workers and customers. The ability to perform additional social media and photography tasks is a huge plus!

Compensation includes an hourly base rate, great tips, generous commission, staff discounts on wine, slushies, and gifts, as well as opportunities to gain experience in the flourishing wine and beer industry!

Send all resumes and contact info to Mike Haney at mhaney@princemichel.com.
